I first fell in love with photography when planning my first trip to the Maldives with my wife. I really wanted to capture the natural beauty of the island and document our trip and didn't have the skills or the ability at the time to do so.

 

As my love of photography grew I developed a keen interest in street photography - capturing those unseen everyday moments that go unnoticed by so many.

 

I then began taking this style in to event photography - taking a no forced smiles approach and documenting the true essence of the event without interrupting people.

 

Simply being there in the moment and observing people as they enjoy a special occasion is a great feeling and leads to a natural, documentary style approach when photographing your event.
